FocusDome — iOS App
Privacy Policy
FocusDome processes sensor data on your device only and stores all your data locally on your iPhone. We do not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.

2. Data we collect
We collect no personal data. FocusDome operates entirely on your device. No account registration is required, no data is sent to our servers, and we do not use any analytics or tracking tools.
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
- History of your focus sessions and breaks
- Phone pickup events and reaction times
- Progress metrics (self-control index, impulses per hour)
- Session, detection sensitivity and notification settings
- Daily goal and day streak
- Onboarding completion status and free-trial status
This data is stored using Apple's SwiftData, UserDefaults and Keychain on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
3. Sensor data
FocusDome detects phone pickups using motion sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope) and the proximity sensor. Readings from these sensors are processed in real time on your device only, solely to detect a pickup. Raw sensor data is not stored, never leaves your device, and is never shared with us.
4. Notifications
FocusDome may send you local notifications (scheduled on your device), for example when a break ends. These notifications are generated locally — no data leaves your device to deliver them. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings → FocusDome.
5. Subscription and payments
FocusDome offers a 7-day free trial, after which it provides an optional subscription or a one-time purchase via Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID. For information on how Apple handles your data, see Apple's Privacy Policy.
6. Third-party services
FocusDome does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. The only third-party service involved is Apple's App Store for purchase and subscription management.
7. Data sharing
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share any of your data with third parties — because we never receive it in the first place.
8. Data retention and deletion
Your data exists solely on your device. To delete all app data, simply delete the FocusDome app from your device. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
9. Children's privacy
FocusDome is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
